The Landlord

When newly dumped Stella (40) finds a new tenant, 21-year-old incel Anton, she thinks her life can’t get any worse. Lonely and longing, she makes the ill-advised decision to have sex with him. Despite struggling with guilt over having abused her power as a landlord, she can’t let go of the fact that Anton rejects her. After several failed attempts to reach Anton, the power dynamic shifts, and Stella’s existence in the apartment becomes consumed by Anton’s absence. She eventually realizes she must fully embrace the humiliation in order to be free.
